Charles "C C" Scott Charles CC Scott, a Birmingham native, is a 25 year radio veteran. He started his radio career in 1978 while a student at Jacksonville State University on WLJS.
From there, C C Scott was recommended by the Dean of Communications at Jacksonville State to be hired as an on-air personality at WDNG in Anniston, where he played Top 40 music. Since then, C C has worked at numerous radio stations in different markets in different capacities including Music Director for WJLD in Birmingham and Program Director for KXZZ in Lake Charles, LA.
Charles is no stranger to radio in Birmingham. He has worked for such radio stations in the Magic City as WBUL, WJLD, WENN, 97.3 WODL and 98.7 KISS-FM.
CC Scott has joined our team as the Sunday afternoon host for the Gospel, Jazz and R&B format.
Charles is a graduate of John Carroll High School. He is an Insurance Agent for Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company and is a huge Atlanta Braves fan! Charles also sings with the Men of Distinction of Birmingham's Sixth Avenue Baptist Church and the Voices of Agape.
