Reverend Dr. Erskine R. Faush, Sr. The Reverend Dr. Erskine R. Faush, a gentleman of multiple talents and skills is the former pastor of the Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church in Birmingham and Presiding Elder of the Birmingham District, North Alabama Conference. A community leader and entrepreneur, Dr. Faush is considered a legend in the broadcasting industry. He is builder and Chairman of Faush-Metropolitan Manor, a $3 million dollar housing development for the elderly in the Woodlawn community; President of E&W Management Corporation; President of ERF Productions, Inc.; and President/Co-Owner of Birmingham Ebony Broadcasting Inc.
Dr. Faush earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree form Faith College in Birmingham and a Master of Science Degree from Alabama State University. He studied Broadcast Communications at the University of Denver and graduate studies in Urban and Community Planning at Alabama A&M University. He also studied at Interdenominational Theological Seminary, earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Union Seminary and awarded the Doctor of Divinity Degree from Livingston College in Salisbury, North Carolina.
In the A.M.E. Zion Church his responsibilities have ranged from the local level to the general church. He has served as director of ministerial training and chairman of the Committee on Finance for the North Alabama Conference, a delegate to the World Methodist Conference; and Chairman of the Episcopal Committee of the General Conference.
Dr. Faush is a member of the Executive Board of the Governor's Economic Council; the State Minority Business Enterprise Board; the National and State Associations of Broadcasters; Board Member of the Private Industry Council; former Trustee of the Chamber of Commerce (Birmingham). For his many profound contributions, he has been cited by the President of the United States, the Governor of Alabama, the Mayor and City Council of Birmingham, the National Association of Black Broadcasters, the Birmingham News, various colleges, universities and community organizations.
Dr. Faush is married to Mrs. Audrey Faush.
